Wuling Unveils Eksion for the First Time in Indonesia at IIMS 2026
This model line marks Indonesia’s first family SUV available with EV and Plug-in Hybrid technologies
Jakarta, February 5, 2026 – At the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026, Wuling Motors (Wuling) officially unveiled the Wuling Eksion for the first time in Indonesia. Through this first appearance, Wuling reaffirmed its consistency in expanding its product portfolio by applying Wuling Technology to its latest model, the Wuling Eksion. Eksion is Indonesia’s first family SUV available with both Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) powertrain options, and it becomes the second model in the country to adopt Wuling Technology after Darion.
“In line with Wuling’s spirit to continuously innovate and adapt to the evolving mobility needs of Indonesian consumers, we consistently introduce products across various segments. Throughout 2025, Wuling launched a range of models, from city car EVs and hatchback EVs to commercial vehicles and MPVs with EV and PHEV technology. Entering 2026, we are also preparing new products to address future consumer needs,” said Ricky Christian, Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.

The first appearance of the Wuling Eksion represents the spirit of exploring Indonesia in every journey. The name Eksion is inspired by the word “action,” reflecting the spirit of continuous movement and exploration throughout each trip.
Wuling Eksion adopts a Muscular Flowline Design concept with a bold, modern, and well-proportioned appearance, reflecting the character of an SUV that is ready to accompany a wide range of user activities. Supported by spacious dimensions, the vehicle offers a comfortable cabin, not only for daily mobility but also for traveling and exploring various destinations with the family.

Beyond its exterior design, cabin comfort is a key focus in the development of Eksion. The presence of a panoramic sunroof extending to the rear rows creates a more open cabin atmosphere that connects passengers with the surrounding environment. Combined with a 7-seater configuration, Wuling Eksion offers a spacious and flexible interior to support exploration with family members.
To support increasingly dynamic family mobility, Wuling introduces an Electric Vehicle (EV) variant as a practical, modern, and environmentally friendly mobility solution. Powered by Magic Battery Pro with a driving range of up to 530 kilometers, the EV variant delivers peace of mind and comfort for both daily use and long-distance travel.
Completing its electrification lineup, Wuling Eksion is also available in a Plug-in Hybrid variant. By combining a gasoline engine and an electric motor supported by Ling Power technology, this variant offers driving flexibility with a total range of more than 1,000 kilometers, enabling efficient and comfortable family exploration.
