All At Once Driving Experience Traveled 252 Km from Solo to Yogyakarta via Gunung Kidul Route
With a stylish and innovative SUV, media colleagues had managed to overcome various road conditions uphill, curved roads, and urban traffic
Yogyakarta, 26 May 2023 – Wuling Motors (Wuling), continued the driving experience activities with its newest compact SUV, Alvez with automotive media colleagues on 24-25 May 2023. In the second batch of the 'All At Once Driving Experience', 20 automotive media colleagues tested five Alvez units from Solo City, through the southern coast route of Gunung Kidul, ending in the City of Yogyakarta. In the two days and one night event, the participants managed to record a distance of 252 kilometers by passing through various road conditions.
“We are continuing the excitement of the driving experience with a stylish and innovative SUV from Wuling, namely Alvez, along with fellow journalists from automotive media. Through this driving activity, we hope that each participant can feel the sensation of driving Alvez, 'Style and Innovation in One SUV', both as a driver and passenger in various road conditions," explained Dian Asmahani as Brand & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.
Upon arrival at Adi Soemarmo Airport, Solo, media colleagues were greeted with five Alvez units to be driven to lunch location at Pracima Tuin, a restaurant that has become a new landmark for Solo residents located at Pura Mangkunegaran. Wuling Alvez offers comfort in a spacious cabin space and a spacious trunk to accommodate media colleagues' luggages during the trip.

After lunch, the group of participants moved to their next destination which is located in the southern coastal area of Gunung Kidul. This trip took approximately three hours with various challenging contours and terrain routes to test the performance and handling of this modern and stylish SUV.
Apart from driving performance, media colleagues also enjoy various driving features on Alvez which made the trip more comfortable and enjoyable. The Wuling Indonesian Command feature is available to access various features, entertainment system through a 10.25-inch screen equipped with internet connectivity, to monitor tire pressure through the Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
Encountering several congestion points on Gunung Kidul uphill route, media colleagues took advantage of the Auto Vehicle Holding feature which complements the Electric Parking Brake system to stop and go when going uphill. In addition, curved roads in the area became the opportunity for media colleagues to tried Alvez's control and steering stability.

Arriving at the De Slili area, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, media colleagues taking an afternoon break while enjoying tea time. After the break, the participants captured the stylish appearance of Wuling Alvez combined with the beauty of the southern coast which is popular as a tourist location for the local community.
Leaving from the Slili Beach area in the southern coast, media colleagues headed towards Imogiri via Jalan Raya Gunung Kidul to have dinner. Arriving at Imogiri, participants drove to one of Yogyakarta's culinary delights, Sate Klathak Pak Pong.
The exciting trip on the second day started from the Grand Ambarrukmo Hotel to the location of a Javanese culture-style restaurant, namely Jiwa Jawi Jogja, Bantul Regency. The trip, which took more than an hour, passed a route with green views typical of Yogyakarta and beautiful community agricultural areas. The performance of the 1,500 cc 4-cylinder Wuling Alvez engine has succeeded in conquering hills on this route.
A media trip with Alvez in the second batch of 'All At Once Driving Experience' was closed by taking a group photo in the area of Yogyakarta's traditional and cultural restaurant, Jiwa Jawi. Furthermore, media partners ended the trip at Yogyakarta International Airport with a total trip from the first day to the second day of 252 kilometers.
