Celebrating Kartini Day, Wuling Invites Female Journalists to Try Almaz RS’ Innovations
Feel the experience together with Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem that supports women's lifestyles
Jakarta, April 21, 2022 – Today, Wuling Motors (Wuling) invited female journalists from various media to participate in Wuling Almaz RS Media Experience 'Kartini Day' activity which was held at Wuling Center, Pondok Indah, and continued with a driving experience activity which ends at GIOI by The Farm, Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK). In this event, female journalists had the opportunity to try the flagship SUV from Wuling, Almaz RS, with various innovations that support driving comfort and safety, as well as support a modern lifestyle.

During the Wuling Almaz RS Media Experience, Wuling Motors Product Planning, Danang Wiratmoko gave explanations about Almaz RS and WISE innovations along with the functions that support women’s lifestyles. After the presentation and question & answer session with Wuling's representatives, media colleagues had the opportunity to drive the Almaz RS starting from Wuling Center, Pondok Indah to GIOI by The Farm, PIK. The trip took the route of Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) - PIK Toll Road. Upon arrival at GIOI by The Farm PIK, the journalists were greeted with an iftar meal and a relaxed chat session with Wuling representatives.

WISE technology itself is a combination of two main innovations, which are the Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS) and Internet of Vehicle (IoV). ADAS functions to provide assistance to drivers while driving in various travel conditions which consists of four categories, namely Adaptive Cruise, Lane Recognition, Safe Distance & Braking Assistance, and Automatic light. Under these four categories, there are 12 warning and active features in total to help provide convenience and safety as well as assist drivers in various travel conditions.
To realize modern and connected mobility, IoV functions to connect Almaz RS users with their vehicles through the internet connection and can be accessed via the MyWuling+ application, as well as the head unit which is also supported by the Indonesian voice commands, Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND). The journalists had the opportunity to try operating the IoV to start the vehicle and turn on the air conditioner via a smartphone, which is a part of IoV, namely Vehicle Remote Control in terms of long-distance vehicle control.
In addition to ADAS and IoV, media friends also tried the sophistication of WIND, which is the voice command feature using common Indonesian words to manage various features in the car. Through this innovation, users can turn off, turn on, and operate various vehicle features such as windows, air conditioner, as well as other entertainment features, such as radio and music, displaying the date and time, to making phone calls only through voice commands. This feature maximizes driving comfort while maintaining user concentration.
"The presence of WISE innovation in the Intelligent Digital Car Almaz RS provides comfort and modern driving, especially for women with high mobility. This flagship SUV from Wuling is designed to provide a smart driving experience, of course, according to the dynamic lifestyle needs of modern women," concluded Dian Asmahani.
