Wuling Collaborates with JNE Tangerang to Strengthen ‘Green Expedition’ Logistics
Through a symbolic handover ceremony of the Mitra EV at IIMS 2026 to support distribution in the Tangerang area
Jakarta, February 5, 2026 – In an effort to support logistics operational efficiency while promoting the use of environmentally friendly vehicles, today Wuling Motors held a symbolic mock-up handover ceremony for the purchase of 10 units of Wuling Mitra EV Blind Van by PT Jala Niaga Elok (JNE Tangerang). The ceremony took place at the Wuling booth during the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026.

The Wuling Mitra EV is an electric commercial vehicle designed to support logistics operations in an efficient, functional, and modern way. We appreciate the trust placed by JNE Tangerang in utilizing the Mitra EV as part of its operational fleet, while also contributing to the development of more environmentally friendly logistics,” said Kharismawan Awangga, Sales Operation Director of Wuling Motors.

Through this collaboration, JNE Tangerang has purchased the Mitra EV Blind Van to support its daily operational activities in the Tangerang area. The use of electric vehicles is expected to enhance distribution efficiency, optimize logistics flows, and reduce the carbon footprint in daily operations.
The symbolic handover ceremony was conducted by Kharismawan Awangga, Sales Operation Director of Wuling Motors, together with Harry Kamora, Director of PT Prima Wahana Auto Mobil (Wuling Prima), to Amrizal Husein as President Director of JNE Tangerang, Igo Ilham as Executive Director of JNE Tangerang, and Genta Purnama Hasan as Operations Director of JNE Tangerang. This addition of electric vehicles to the fleet forms part of JNE Tangerang’s commitment to delivering reliable, timely, and environmentally friendly logistics services. Going forward, the use of the Mitra EV is expected to further support more optimal and sustainable distribution processes.

Prior to this collaboration with Wuling Prima, JNE Tangerang conducted a trial of the Wuling Mitra EV from December 2 to December 29, 2025. During this period, the vehicle recorded a cumulative mileage of 500 kilometers with charging costs of approximately IDR 190,000. These figures demonstrate the battery efficiency for daily logistics needs. Based on the trial results, JNE Tangerang proceeded with the next step by issuing a Vehicle Order Letter (SPK) at Wuling Prima on December 30, 2025, as the basis for expanding its electric operational fleet.
Commenting on the fleet handover, Igo Ilham stated, “The procurement of 10 units of the Wuling Mitra EV is part of JNE Tangerang’s strategy to optimize inbound processes, namely the delivery of parcels from collection centers to operational offices before entering the final delivery stage to customers. The presence of this electric fleet helps us improve processing speed, maintain service timeliness, and deliver more efficient and sustainable operations.”
The Wuling Mitra EV is Wuling’s first electric commercial vehicle in Indonesia and is produced at Wuling’s manufacturing facility in Cikarang. Carrying the spirit of ‘Satu Rekan, Banyak Solusi’, this product line is marketed in Blind Van and Minibus variants, available in Polar White and Mountain Grey exterior colors. Designed to be efficient, multifunctional, and modern, the Mitra EV is positioned as a reliable work partner to meet daily business operational needs.
