Wuling Darion Receives Three Awards at the OTOMOTIF Award 2026
Recognition for Wuling’s latest 7-seater family MPV, available with both EV and PHEV technologies
Jakarta, June 4, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) once again received recognition at the OTOMOTIF Award 2026, organized by Tabloid OTOMOTIF at Ambyar Senayan Park, Jakarta, today. Wuling successfully secured three awards through the Wuling Darion product line. The awards include The Best Medium MPV, The Best Medium MPV EV, and Favorite Car 2026. This achievement serves as proof of Wuling’s commitment to delivering vehicle innovations that are relevant to the needs of Indonesian consumers.

The annual award event organized by Tabloid OTOMOTIF, the OTOMOTIF Award, has now entered its 19th edition. The awards are presented to two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles based on testing results and evaluations conducted by the editorial team of Tabloid OTOMOTIF. This year, the OTOMOTIF Award carries the theme “Driving Agility: Navigating the Future of Mobility,” highlighting the importance of adaptability in responding to the increasingly dynamic automotive industry, ranging from electrification and digitalization to evolving consumer needs. In this year’s edition, the OTOMOTIF Award 2026 features 23 award categories for four-wheeled vehicles and 24 award categories for two-wheeled vehicles.
The Best Medium MPV award was presented to the Wuling Darion PHEV. In addition, the Wuling Darion EV also achieved recognition by winning The Best Medium MPV EV title. In addition to these awards, Wuling Darion PHEV also received recognition as Favorite Car 2026 in this event.
As a brief introduction, the Wuling Darion is Wuling’s latest 7-seater family MPV, available in both EV and PHEV variants, making it the first MPV in Indonesia to offer both electrification technologies within a single product line. Carrying the tagline “Evolving Family Moments,” the Wuling Darion is designed to provide a comfortable driving experience for all family members through its modern design, spacious cabin, and various innovative features.

In addition to delivering comfort for families, the Wuling Darion is equipped with advanced safety features such as Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), a 360° Around View Camera, and six airbags to enhance safety throughout the journey. In terms of connectivity, the Wuling Darion is supported by Ling OS, Wuling’s intelligent operating system that is integrated with Internet of Vehicle (IoV) features and voice commands to provide a more practical and intuitive driving experience.
For the EV variant, the Wuling Darion offers a driving range of up to 540 kilometers (CLTC) and DC Fast Charging capability that enables charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the Wuling Darion PHEV combines efficiency and flexibility through the LING POWER Hybrid System technology, delivering a combined driving range of more than 1,000 kilometers and a pure electric driving range of up to 125 kilometers (CLTC).
This recognition further strengthens the position of the Wuling Darion as a modern 7-seater family MPV that offers both EV and PHEV electrification technologies, providing consumers in Indonesia with options that suit their mobility needs.
