Wuling Earns Two Titles at the Family Car Recommendation 2026
Darion PHEV was named ‘Smart Premium MPV’ and Eksion PHEV was named ‘Modern Family Adventurer’
Jakarta, October 7, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) was once again recognized at the 2026 Family Car Recommendation (FCR) event, organized by the editorial teams at Autofun Indonesia, Carmudi, and Mobil123. Two of Wuling’s electrified vehicles, the Darion PHEV and the Eksion PHEV, won awards in their respective categories. The Darion PHEV was named the ‘Smart Premium MPV,’ while the Wuling Eksion PHEV earned the title of ‘Modern Family Adventurer.’ The awards, presented today (07/10), recognize Wuling’s commitment to providing relevant and efficient mobility solutions for the needs of Indonesian families.

Family Car Recommendation is an annual editorial initiative that has been held since 2022 to provide recommendations for the best cars for Indonesian families. Over the years, the program has expanded to feature various categories, covering conventional vehicles to electric vehicles, in line with the diverse needs and evolving mobility trends of families. In 2026, FCR once again presented a range of vehicle categories, with recommendations developed based on the characteristics and needs of modern families and subsequently communicated through various channels.
At this event, the ‘Smart Premium MPV’ title was awarded to the Wuling Darion PHEV, a 7-seater electrified MPV that combines comfort, practicality, and technology to support family mobility. The Wuling Darion ‘Evolving Family Moments’ features a captain seat configuration, AutoComfort Sliding Door to enhance convenience for families on every journey, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This combination of comfort and technology serves as one of the key strengths supporting the Darion PHEV’s recognition as the ‘Smart Premium MPV’ at the Family Car Recommendation 2026.
Meanwhile, the Wuling Eksion PHEV received the ‘Modern Family Adventurer’ title for its combination of versatile SUV character and features designed to support the mobility needs of today’s families. Embracing the spirit of ‘Exploring Family Journeys’, the Wuling Eksion PHEV features a Muscular Flower Design that accentuates its SUV character, along with a three-row, 7-seater cabin configuration to accommodate family journeys. The combination of its bold exterior design and flexible cabin makes the Eksion PHEV a suitable choice for modern families with active lifestyles who enjoy exploring various destinations.
Both the Wuling Darion PHEV and Eksion PHEV are equipped with LING Power technology, which combines a gasoline engine, electric motor, and Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) to deliver responsive and smooth performance, supporting driving efficiency for both daily mobility and long-distance journeys. Both models are powered by a 20.5 kWh battery, enabling an all-electric driving range of up to 125 km based on the CLTC standard. Across both PHEV models, the combination of the electrified powertrain and gasoline engine enables a total driving range of more than 1,000 km with a full battery and fuel tank, providing greater flexibility for long-distance travel.
Through these achievements, Wuling further strengthens its commitment to providing family vehicles that cater to the diverse mobility needs of Indonesian consumers.
