Wuling Motors Received a Title in Nusantara TV Sustainability Communications Award
Awarded as The Most Inspiring Sustainable Communication Company in Transportation Sector in Indonesia
Jakarta, 29 February 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) made another achievement in its effort for environmentally friendly mobility in Indonesia, yesterday (28/2). This time, in the Nusantara TV Sustainable Communication Award event held at the Bali Ballroom, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, Wuling was named The Most Inspiring Sustainable Communication Company in the Transportation Sector. This award was given for Wuling's innovations and breakthroughs through environmentally friendly mobility solutions and the efforts to educate wider community on the benefits of electric vehicles for transportation and the Indonesian environment.

In line with 'Drive For A Green Life', we put it to action through presenting a variety of electric car products to meet people's various needs in an EV. Starting from Air ev, BinguoEV to Cloud EV which will be marketed domestically. This appreciation encourages us to continue to innovate for a better life," explained Dian Asmahani as Sales and Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.
Nusantara TV Sustainability Communications Award is an award event conducted by Nusantara TV television station to appreciate corporations for their performance during 2023 to communicate sustainability programs to the wider community. This award is divided into six categories consisting of Digital & Telecommunications, Transportation, FMCG Industry, Mining & Energy, Finance, and Agriculture. The selection process was carried out by Nusantara TV together with research and media monitoring agency Binokular to conduct quantitative & qualitative desk research with reference to sustainability values, media monitoring analysis of sustainability communication, and assessment by a jury of experts in their fields.

The Most Inspiring Sustainable Communication Company in the Transportation Sector appreciation from Nusantara TV was given to Wuling as an environmentally friendly electric vehicle manufacturer in Indonesia. Approaching 7 years of its journey in the Indonesian automotive market, Wuling has become one of the leading electric vehicle brands in the nation. Wuling began marketing its first electric vehicle in Indonesia through Air ev in August 2022, followed by BinguoEV in December 2023, and introduced its latest electric vehicle, Cloud EV at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024.
Answering the challenge of sustainability communication, Wuling continues to be committed to educating the public about electric vehicles and their benefits for daily mobility. Through omnichannel platforms, Wuling consistently provides important information regarding the ease of use of its electric vehicles, the ease of charging that can be done at home, to the various financial and non-financial benefits obtained through the use of electric vehicles. Wuling is also the first EV manufacturer to offer a Lifetime Warranty program for three main components of its electric vehicles. In addition, Wuling's electric vehicle, Air ev, played an important part at international events as official car partner such as the G20 Summit 2022, ASEAN Summit 2023, and AIS Summit 2023.
