Wuling Motors Showcase its First Product in Indonesia, Confero S, at Media First Impression Event
Wuling Motors (Wuling) showcase its first product in Indonesia, at Media First Impression event held at Jetski Café, North Jakarta. Wuling named its first car in Indonesia, Confero S, meaning ‘to bring together’. Vice President of Vehicle, Sales, Service and Marketing (VSSM) Wuling Motors, Cindy Cai said “The name Confero was inspired by our understanding that Indonesians deeply value family and togetherness. Meanwhile the ‘S’ in Confero is the abbreviation of ‘Sport’. The name reflects our commitment to present not only a functional car that can accommodate Indonesian family in a comfortable journey, but also in an elegant and sporty style.”
And today, 22 May 2017, Wuling Motor organizing a one-day exclusive First Impression event to showcase its first car, Confero S, to the media. Held at Jetski Café, North Jakarta, the media were invited to experience the pleasurable driving of Wuling car that has been go through intensive development process to ensure Wuling’s first car to meet Indonesian’s needs.

“We are proud to show you Wuling Confero S that will be launched by the third quarter of this year, as our commitment realization in Indonesia. This product shows that Wuling listen and understand the needs of Indonesian people to a car, untill we come to this stage. We always trying to provide the best product and excellent service for you, our customer” Said Cindy Cai, Vice President of Vehicle, Sales, Service and Marketing (VSSM) Wuling Motors.
The media tested the unique and different features of the car through test drive. They also tested other features of the car through several fun games, such ‘The Parking Challenge’ game that was created to test the function of rear and front parking sensor, as well as the rear parking camera.

Confero S is a spacious MPV that offers two seating alternatives, 7-seaters and 8-seaters, for maximum comfort for all passengers. The car is equipped with many optional safety features to ensure the safe driving for the whole family, including ISOFIX lock for the safety of children. To enhance the safety of Confero S, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) are also available. In addition, charging port and Head Unit 8” Mirrorlink are also featured in Wuling’s first car for customer’s utmost convenience and entertainment.
Wuling optimist that Indonesian people will love Confero S because this car is the result of Wuling’s effort to listen and understand our customer needs to a car.

Many of our correspondences said that the name Confero S represents the confidence, sporty and elegant look. Wuling will be officially launching Confero S by the third quarter of this year and also build 50 sales point and after sales through 2017. Hopefully, this number will increase to help Indonesian customer get our product and service in Indonesia.
