Indra Bendi on Almaz RS: Sophisticated SUV Equal to IDR 1 Billion!
Almaz RS has sophisticated technology that does not only rely on gimmicks but takes your driving experience to a higher level. On this occasion, Indra Bendi gave a full review of the Almaz RS which has advanced features which he thinks is equivalent to a car worth IDR 1 billion.
Great Grill & Futuristic Lights
From an aesthetic point of view, the grille is able to give a different look to the car's exterior. In the Almaz RS, according to Indra, the grill has a dashing and luxurious design with a glossy black color with additional shiny chrome accents. It is further accentuated by the red dove line at the bottom which gives the impression of racing cars.
The grill concept is very harmonious with the New Smoked Headlamp which is equipped with a futuristic projector headlight to facilitate lighting and also DRL (Daytime Running Light) lights. Not only that, at the bottom there is a yellow fog lamp which is handy to use during heavy rain.
Strong and Steady Body
According to Indra Bendi, the body of the Almaz RS as a whole is very dashing thanks to the two-tone color design -body color at the bottom and glossy black at the top. While on the side there is a long body curve to the back which gives a strong impression.
The wheels also use a two-tone color polish and a typical black crossover car. The mirrors are also no less cool with the glossy black color that blends with the turn signal. The door handle uses a pull model with an aluminum color, providing an elegant impression on the dashing Almaz RS body.

Almaz RS is equipped with a simple remote with a start button on the car dashboard. However, what makes this car special is the My Wuling+ application which, according to Indra, is very easy to use.
Users can easily open or lock the doors and even the back door, open the window, check the temperature, start the engine and turn on the air conditioner without having to be in the car. Even cooler, you can find where your car is parked directly from the smartphone.
ADAS Feature Control in Head Unit
Not only as an entertainment feature but the Advance Driver Assistance System (ADAS) can also be used to control various features of the Almaz RS. These features include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Bend Cruise Assistance (BCA), Traffic Jam Assistant (TJA), Intelligent Cruise Assistance (ICA), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
On top of that, there are also Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA), Safe Distance Warning (SDW), Forward Collision Warning (FCW) Automatic Emergency Brake (AEB), Intelligent Hydraulic Brake Assistance (IHBA), Collision Mitigation System (CMS), and Intelligent Head Beam Assistance (IHMA).
All of these ADAS features are very important to support safety while driving. Indra Bendi had time to try these features while driving on the highway. The Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA) features were handy in ensuring the car follows the road markings, thereby avoiding the driver to feel quickly tired during long-distance driving.

All-Digital Advanced Features
Having a sophisticated and all-digital dashboard, such as on the MID screen, Indra Bendi could find indicators of trip meter, gasoline, fuel consumption, engine temperature, real-time speed, driving time, mileage, and even Tire Monitoring Pressure System (TPMS) which visualize the condition of the air pressure on the tires in real-time.
Almaz RS technology is also equipped with Indonesian voice commands so that it can manage all the features in the car such as opening the sunroof, opening windows, or adjusting the air conditioner only through voice commands. This feature is known as Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND).
The advanced head unit is embedded with a wide screen that covers all car systems. One of the main features is the 360 camera which allows Indra Bendi to easily see the road conditions around the car which is especially helpful when parking in challenging locations.
Another thing that makes Indra interested is the Panoramic Sunroof feature measuring 0.82 m2 which is the largest in its class. This means that 70% of the ceiling is filled with Panoramic Sunroof glass for better views.
Powerful Machine with Soft Suspension
In terms of performance, the Almaz RS variant is supported by a gasoline engine with a 4-cylinder configuration with a capacity of 1,500ccs and a very powerful turbocharged for a maximum power of 140 HP and 250 Nm of torque. Almaz relies on a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with an 8-speed manual simulation mode that offers smooth and highly responsive gearshifts.
The suspension of this car is very soft and stable when used in various road conditions. It was proven when Indra passed a road that was in poor condition, hardly any shocks were felt in the cabin. The Almaz RS power steering also feels very comfortable, at low speeds the steering wheel is very light and easy to control. But at high speeds, the steering wheel becomes harder so that the handling while driving becomes better.
Conclusion?
Indra said that the Almaz RS was worth buying. Because with a reasonable price, you can get an SUV with very complete features on par with more expensive cars. With premium build quality that is excellent and solid, there is no car with technology like this in the same price class.
