The MPV segment is still tempting for many car manufacturers in Indonesia. Recently, Wuling introduced the lowest MPV variant of the Cortez family at a quite competitive price in its class, namely Wuling Cortez CT Type S.
This latest MPV from Wuling presents a new experience for drivers. In addition to the decent price of Wuling Cortez CT in its class, it is also equipped with excellent performance and exterior parts as an added value.
Two types of Wuling Cortez CT type S are offered to Indonesians. The price of Wuling Cortez CT for each of these types is IDR 209 million for the manual version. As for the automatic version, it is priced at IDR 233 million OTR Jakarta.

The Exterior of Wuling Cortez CT Type S

Wuling Cortez CT type S now utilizes a single tone rim. This is not new, however, as it has been used in the old version of Wuling Cortez 1.5. The lights still carry LEDs at the front and the back of the car.
However, the Type S variant is not equipped with a fog lamp like the Type C and L. Type S also does not have a sunroof.

The Interior of Wuling Cortez Type S
With regards to the interior part, the Wuling Cortez CT Type S does not use soft-touch material, unlike that of the type C and L’s. Air Conditioner settings are also operated manually.

However, the Type S is also designed with two-tone colors. The highest type of Wuling Cortez CT Type S already carries a captain seat and is upholstered in synthetic leather similar to that of type L’s. For type C, the seat configuration is without a captain seat.

Wuling Cortez CT Type S Machine
Wuling Cortez CT Type S carries an inline 4-cylinder turbo engine DOHC, DVVT, with a capacity of 1,451 ccs. Thanks to this engine, the car can produce a maximum power equivalent to 140 horsepower at 5,200 rpm. While the torque is 250 Nm in the range 1,600-3,600 rpm. The car also has a Euro 4 emission standard as a commitment to Indonesian’s government mission in reducing exhaust emissions.
For the manual version, the engine is equipped with a 5-speed transmission, while the automatic version carries a CVT transmission.
Wuling Cortez CT Type S Features
Wuling Cortez Type S is equipped with a start/stop button feature that makes it easy for you to start the car, Keyless Entry, Remote Open Windows and Trunk, and Anti-Theft System.
Not only those, the Wuling Cortez CT Type S has an 8-inch Advance entertainment screen, Audio Steering, and Call Button, Rear Parking Camera, Disc Brake on the back, USB Charging, ABS, EBD, Isofix, and last but not least the safety features of dual SRS Airbags.
