Wuling Motors Invites Its Official Community to Explore Almaz RS
WLCI, Cortezian Indonesia, and WALI takes special opportunities to try WISE innovation
Jakarta, 19 March 2021 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) today held a Community First Impression for Almaz RS specifically for the official community of Wuling vehicle owners. This activity was attended by Wuling Club Indonesia (WLCI), Cortezian Indonesia (CI), and Wuling Almaz Indonesia (WALI). The test drive, which was carried out with this health protocol, is Wuling's step to collaborate with the community of loyal customers to experience firsthand the experience of driving with Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE) technology in the Ancol area, North Jakarta.
"Today we present a special opportunity for the Wuling community to try WISE innovations consisting of the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) and the Advanced Driver Assitance System (ADAS) at Almaz RS. Based on the spirit of Drive For A Better Life, we hope that today's activity can further strengthen Wuling Motors' partnership with its official community and socialize WISE innovations more broadly," Brian Gomgom as Media Relations of Wuling Motors explained.

In this activity, Wuling provided 6 Almaz RS units which are Wuling's flagship models in the SUV category. Community members are given the opportunity to drive with the Almaz RS and try various advanced features embedded in this flagship product line. Starting from the voice command of the Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) up to the latest innovation of Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE), which consists of ADAS and IoV. The community can also witness the new exterior and interior designs, unique driving experiences, and complete comfort and safety features on this latest Wuling product.
At the designated track, community members tried the ADAS features on WISE including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Bend Cruise Assitance (BCA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Traffic Jam Assistance (TJA) ), up to Intelligent Cruise Assistance (ICA). In addition, community members also learn about and try to use features on the Internet of Vehicle such as Vehicle Remote Control, Vehicle Positioning, Online Navigation, Online Music, and the Internet Messaging App which are operated through Head Unit supported by WIND.
"We are very grateful for the opportunity from Wuling Motors to WALI, as the official community of Wuling Almaz users, to try firsthand the latest Almaz RS model with WISE technology. This innovation further strengthens the position of Wuling's flagship SUV as a sophisticated and smart vehicle,” stated Jerry, Chairman of WALI.

The President of WLCI, Bayu Firmansyah expressed his interest in one of WISE's features, namely ADAS, "With the presence of this innovation at Almaz RS, Wuling presents a different driving experience that supports modern mobility. I felt this while trying this SUV in the Ancol area."
Also participating in the Community First Impression activity, President of Cortezian Indonesia, Kuntarto Rachmat also expressed his appreciation for Wuling Motors and Almaz RS who are now present with the Internet of Vehicle, "In today's digital and information era, cars and drivers are increasingly connected via the internet. This can be felt through the IoV technology on Almaz RS, which supports an up-to-date lifestyle."
