What Makes Wuling Cortez Turbo Special?
24 August, 2020
Each car is equipped with special features. These features are what differentiates one model from another. It can even differentiate between variants on one model, such as the MPV Wuling Cortez Turbo.
This tough MPV car was launched at the 2019 Indonesia International Motor Show (IMS) and comes in two variants, namely the C type that stands for comfort and the L type for Luxurious.
Wuling Cortez Turbo Transmission
The two variants of Wuling Cortez Turbo indeed have two differences. The first difference lies in the transmission options offered. In the Wuling Cortez Turbo Type C, consumers are given the choice of a 6-speed manual transmission and also a CVT. On the other hand, the Cortez Turbo Type L has only one transmission which is the CVT.
Headlights for Driving Comfort
In terms of its exterior design, the headlights feature of Wuling Cortez Turbo guarantees comfort during your driving. Wuling Cortez Turbo Type C has been embedded with projector headlights, although the light source still comes from halogens. Meanwhile, for the Type L, both the front and rear lights are equipped with the LED system.
Cortez Turbo Type L is also the highest type of MPV in this middle class. The sunroof feature is available for this Type L.
Display Features and Seat Upholstery
Heading into the interior part, the difference between the two variants is in the size of the Multi-Information Display (MID) screen. The Type L is equipped with 7 inches colored MID screen, while the Cortez Turbo Type C has 3.5 inches MID screen.
Moving on to the seat material, Wuling Cortez Turbo Type C manual transmission has its seat covered in fabric material. On the other hand, if you prefer semi-leather upholstery, you can get it at Cortez CT Type C CVT transmission and the Type L.

Stay Satisfied on The Highest and Lowest Variants
However, you should note that Wuling Cortez Turbo offers other variants other than the Type C and L. Recently, Wuling launched the cheapest Cortez Turbo variant through Type S. This new type is a complementary variant that is offered at the cheapest price compared to other Wuling Cortez Turbo.
The difference with the other two variants lies in the exterior part, namely the use of single tone wheels, 16-inch Alloy Wheels with Machining. In the Type S, the lighting system carries LEDs in both the front and rear lights.
The Type S CVT transmission also uses synthetic leather upholstery and has a captain seat configuration as well. As the cheapest variant, the Type S is equipped with seatbelts that are embedded in the third row, just like that of the Type L.
Commonly, the lowest variant means limited features available. But, this is not the case with the Wuling Cortez Turbo Type S. Wuling embeds Remote Open Windows and Trunk, as well as Anti-Theft System in this car.
These features allow you to open all four windows simply by pressing a remote button. You can use this function to reduce heat after the car is parked under the sun.
