Jakarta, 27 October 2021 As a tangible form of long-term commitment for Indonesian customers in terms of products and services, Wuling Motors (Wuling) officially opened the Flagship Wuling Center today. Located on Jl. Iskandar Muda Kav. 9, South Jakarta, Flagship Wuling Center in Indonesia is the first establishment outside of its home country, China, presenting product line up as well as Wuling’s electric vehicle. Carrying the theme ‘The New Starting Point, The New Growth & The New Future’, the inauguration of the Wuling Center was opened by Shi Guoyong as the President Director of Wuling Motors which was then followed by a ribbon cutting procession with the Wuling management.

“Our seriousness in Indonesia has been realized since the establishment of the factory in Cikarang which was inaugurated in 2017. Now we are proud to present the Flagship Wuling Center in Indonesia as the first on a global scale. Of course, the presence of the Flagship Wuling Center is also a milestone for Wuling’s development in the Indonesian automotive market. We hope that it will be easier for consumers to explore products and innovations through the Flagship Wuling Center in line with the spirit of ‘Drive For A Better Life’,” said Shi Guoyong, President Director of Wuling Motors.

Flagship Wuling Center has two floors of showrooms that can be visited by customers. On the first floor covering an area of 901m2, Wuling displays a variety of its flagship product lines that have been marketed in Indonesia and there is also an exclusive waiting room and a comfortable coffee lounge. In addition, Wuling also has a showroom on the second floor that displays a variety of products in an area of 300m2.

Regarding the display unit on the ground floor, Wuling displays Almaz which is in the medium SUV segment. Product that has 1,500cc turbocharged engine with a choice of CVT and manual transmissions (specifically the Smart Enjoy variant), is also equipped with high quality innovation, namely the Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) which makes it easy for consumers to access all kinds of vehicle features. Of course, the Almaz RS, Wuling’s flagship SUV equipped with the Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE) and WIND innovations, was also exhibited. WISE combines Internet of Vehicle (IoV) technology and Advanced Driving Assistant System (ADAS) which is equipped with 12 main features.

Then, New Confero S ‘The Real Spacious Family MPV’ also comes with an attractive and youthful front exterior appearance and a spacious cabin. Turning to the medium MPV segment, Cortez CT ‘The New Advanced MPV’ was also displayed at the Flagship Wuling Center. Powered by a 1.5L turbo engine, Cortez CT is equipped with a smooth CVT transmission and manual transmission options for types C and S. In maximizing user comfort and driving experience, this MPV is designed with a spacious cabin, captain seat configuration, and other supporting features.

At the Flagship Wuling Center, Wuling also presents electric vehicle with the GSEV (Global Small Electric Vehicle) platform. This electric vehicle is suitable for everyday use with easy charging battery. This compact dimension electric vehicle is also supported by a variety of smart driving features and qualified safety features.
