How Far Along Are We for a Service?

It might seem like a common knowledge for people to understand when to take their car for a regular service, but it is a different case for new users, and Wuling wants to also be helpful for people who are just beginning to understand how to provide maintenance for their cars. Service is a really important step of your whole car maintenance. But, before we go into details, let’s first understand the basic purpose, so we can also be sure that we are on the same page.
The first service for your new car is very, very important. And when you are a first car owner, then this article is really for you. There are several things you will need to comprehend regarding your car’s component before you let other people, i.e. the mechanics, to put a hand on it.
For a new car, it is advised that you send it to the garage for a regular service once it reaches a certain distance on its odometer. The regulation is set in regards to some basic principles of how the engine works and to get some information from the whole system which the manufacturers wish to extract to avoid any possible anomaly on your car. We advise you to bring your Wuling car to the garage every 1,000 km, 5,000 km, 10,000 km, 20,000 km and so on and we will cover you with a free maintenance service fee until it reaches 50,000 km. This will also include changing the differential oil, its filter, AC filter and a few other things. Always make sure what are and what are not included in the warranty.
When your car is still within the coverage of warranty, you are not advised to work on any of its parts by yourself, because this will void the warranty. A few parts such as tire, rubber, lamp, etc. are not included in the warranty due to its normal life span of use, please ask the dealer representative to get the full list or read it from your Warranty Manual book. In order to maintain the good condition of your car and all of its parts, we at Wuling are providing you with 1-year warranty or within the first 20,000 km, whichever comes first. Engine & Transmission
The engines installed in each Wuling car have gone through careful production process and quality control, however we want our consumers to feel total security when acquiring Wuling cars. In order to do so, your engine and transmission key componentsare covered by a 5-year warranty or within the first 100,000 km-whichever comes first.

In general, Wuling provides you with a 3-year warranty should there be anything wrong happening to your car, such as power window, body paint, air conditioning system, etc., granted that it is being used under normal operation. Always ask the dealer representative of the things not covered within the service/warranty, to avoid any dispute between what is stated and what you assume are covered.
