This type of marking is usually found on urban streets with white dotted lines for Indonesia. The meaning or benefit of this type of road marking is that the driver may be on the side of the dotted line to change lanes to the other side. However, if the driver is on the side of the line without breaking, then the driver may not change lanes.

This type of road marking is usually found at the intersection of major urban roads. In Indonesia, Jakarta and Bandung have implemented this type of road marking. The purpose of this marking is so that the intersection path is not locked when road conditions are congested.
