Wuling Presents Lifetime Core EV Component Warranty Program During Binguo EV Pre-booking
Indonesia's first electric car manufacturer with lifetime warranty service for core electric vehicle components
Tangerang District, 16 November 2023 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) today showcased the exterior and interior of its latest electric vehicle, BinguoEV (pronounced: Bing-go EV) as well as opened bookings in the pre-book period. During this period, Wuling provides various benefits that can be obtained by consumers who make reservations entitled Electric Icon Priority Pack. In order to provide convenience and peace of mind in the ownership of Binguo EV, one of the benefits provided to consumers for the 410-kilometer mileage variant is the Lifetime Core EV Component Warranty which includes a power battery, drive motor, and motor control unit.

"Wuling's commitment to environmentally friendly mobility is realized not only through its latest electric vehicle line, BinguoEV, but also by providing convenience to consumers regarding its ownership. Therefore, during the BinguoEV pre-book period, we provide benefits in the form of Lifetime Core EV Component Warranty, which is the first lifetime EV component warranty in Indonesia given by an electric car manufacturer to consumers. With this special package, consumers can drive more comfortably and confidently with BinguoEV for daily mobility," said Maulana Hakim, Aftersales Director of Wuling Motors.
The Lifetime Core EV Components Warranty is part of the Electric Icon Priority Pack, which is offered to customers as a benefit during the BinguoEV pre-booking period. The warranty covers the core components of an electric vehicle, including the power battery, which is one of the most important parts of an electric vehicle. Other important components included in the lifetime warranty program are the drive motor (including the integrated motor assembly) and the motor control unit. These components are interrelated in generating power and moving the wheels of the electric vehicle.

There are some terms and conditions that consumers should be aware of regarding the Lifetime Core EV Components Warranty. This program applies to private owners of BinguoEV in new conditions (not operational vehicles or second-hand) and with a maximum mileage of 30,000 kilometers per year. The electric vehicles are required to carry out periodic maintenance at Wuling's authorized workshop network and use original spare parts from Wuling.
In addition to Lifetime Core EV Components Warranty, Wuling also prepares several other benefits during the pre-book period which are included in the Electric Icon Pack for BinguoEV 410 km variant. These benefits consist of a free 7.7 kW AC Charging Device, free periodic maintenance costs for up to 5 years or 50,000 kilometers (whichever comes first), a two-year electricity voucher with a value of Rp4,000,000, and accessories in the form of storage box, window film and carpet for consumers who place an order. The total benefits obtained by pre-book customers amount to Rp47,000,000.
"We provide various benefits and conveniences in BinguoEV ownership exclusively for every consumer who is interested in owning the latest electric car from Wuling during the pre-book period. This offer is limited to the first 1,000 BinguoEV customers," added Maulana Hakim.
As additional information, consumers who book the 333 km variant of BinguoEV also have the opportunity to get several benefits consisting of AC Charging Device and accessories (storage box, window film, and carpet). Wuling BinguoEV pre-booking can be done starting today by visiting the Wuling exhibition area at Summarecon Mall Serpong. In addition, consumers can also visit the nearest Wuling dealer network, or access the Wuling.id website to pre-book Wuling's latest electric car.
