The latest variant of Wuling’s flagship MPV officially present in North Sumatra
Medan, 8 May 2019 - Wuling Motors (Wuling) continues the series of Cortez CT launch activities in Medan today. Together with PT Arista Jaya Lestari, Wuling introduced the new variant of the Medium MPV at Plaza Medan Fair. Cortez CT ‘The New Advanced MPV' is priced starting from IDR 243,000,000 to IDR 293,000,000 in the city of Medan.
"We see potential market developments in North Sumatra. This prompted us to complete the MPV product line by presenting Cortez CT. In line with the spirit of 'Drive For A Better Life', we hope that through the latest variant of the Cortez family, it can help consumers to achieve a better life, "said Sulistyo Nugroho as Regional Sales Manager of Wuling Motors.

Cortez CT comes with the aspects of Confident, Comfort, and Complete. To increase confidence in driving, Wuling provided this Medium MPV with a 1,500cc inline 4-cylinder engine supported by a Turbocharger from Honeywell. Cortez CT has a maximum power of 140 HP and 250 Nm of torque delivered to the front wheels. The New Advanced MPV is marketed in two transmission options, namely 6-speed manual on C type or Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) for C and L types.
Elegant interior design is applied to the latest Cortez variant with the presence of bright semi-leather seats and modern patterned panels. Passenger comfort is increasingly supported with a 7-seater configuration and spacious cabin space. Cortez CT has five color choices consisting of Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver, Starry Black and Burgundy Red.

Various modern features are also embedded in Cortez CT, such as the One Push Start / Stop Button, Keyless Entry, and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS). In addition, there are also other facilities including Advanced 8" Entertainment System with Navigation, 7" Multi Information Display, Convenient Electric Front Seat Adjuster, Classy Electric Sunroof, Rear Camera, Front and Rear Parking Sensor, USB charging for the first to third rows .
Regarding safety driving support devices, Wuling complements Cortez CT with Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Control (HHC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), ISOFIX, Automatic Vehicle Holding (AVH), Electric Parking Brake (EPB), ABS, EBD, BA deceleration system, to front and side airbags.
In addition to conducting the official launch of Wuling Cortez CT for the Medan and surrounding markets, Wuling also held an exhibition until May 12, 2019 at the Plaza Medan Fair. For visitors who want to experience driving with Wuling’s Medium MPV, there are also test drive units during the exhibition. As an additional information, Wuling now has two network dealers in Medan, namely Wuling Arista Medan Ringroad and Wuling Arista Medan SM Raja.
